Majestic Fishing Charters operates out of Lafitte, Louisiana, near New Orleans, in the Barataria Basin of the Mississippi Delta - only aboy 30 minutes from the French Quarter and the Superdome. Lafitte and nearby Grand Isle, LA allow access to some of the finest Marsh, Inland and Offshore sport fishing available on the Gulf Coast or anywhere in the world.Let me be your personal guide to an unforgettable fishing experience on our spectacular Louisiana inshore and coastal waterways. As a beginner or avid angler, you will want to experience the thrill of light tackle fishing at its best for redfish, speckled trout and flounder and even bass.

Or, if you prefer to just "take in the sites", you can select our “Nature Tour” that will allow you to see some of the breathtaking scenery and wildlife this area offers. Alligators, Bald Eagles, beautiful herons, pelicans, and nutria are just some examples of what you might see.

Captain John King will treat you to a Louisiana fishing experience like none other.  The marsh, inshore, and coastal waters of Southeastern Louisiana is home to a wide variety of species providing year-round fishing opportunities.
Fishing for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, other species of Trout, Sharks, Sheephead, Snapper, “Bull Reds” and even Bass as well as other inshore species, make their homes here at various times of the year. The fishing is always outstanding but catching is better and easier on weekdays. Nice weekends develop into crowded waterways with fishing and pleasure boats. This can result in a slower bite, so it is best if you try to schedule during the week, whenever possible.

So, let me customize a trip for one to five people. You just need to bring a camera and some sunscreen and/or raingear, (snacks are a good idea too), and I will provide the rest!
